June 24, 2015 (Boston, MA) – marlo marketing , the creative consumer marketing agency with offices in Boston and New York, took the top honors at the June 2015 Bellringers’ Awards for the agency’s Community & Consumer Affairs campaign to launch and market The Lawn on D, Boston’s first-of-its-kind outdoor interactive landscape located on D Street at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC). Owned and operated by the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA), The Lawn on D is a community-focused initiative attracting diverse audiences from across the city in an innovative and creatively engaging space. The Lawn on D debuted in mid-August 2014, hosted a robust fall and modified winter schedule, and reopened on May 15 in 2015.

The Lawn on D has achieved massive popularity since opening just over ten months ago in August 2014, hosting more than 50,000 people to date at ongoing activities and special exhibits; amassing 17,500+ Facebook, Twitter and Instagram followers, 200,000+ website page views; and accolades including recognition in BostInno’s “Fifty on Fire” in Arts & Entertainment, among others.
