The Royal Diet

The way to a healthier life is clean eating and a routine fitness schedule. This statement has been engraved in society’s mind for so long, there seems to be no alternative. One who eats their vegetables and works out is sure to be healthy and happy, right? Well, what if I told you can have your cake and eat it, too?

An article came out last week in Food & Wine, letting the world into the secret of how Her Majesty thrives under the motto “treat yo’ self.” It is reported that Queen Elizabeth has about four cocktails and one piece of chocolate cake a day. She starts off with a gin and Dubonnet just before lunch, where she will typically drink a dry gin martini during the course, and then finish her meal with a glass of wine and a piece of chocolate. The Queen later ends her day with an elegant glass of champs before bed.
