A Shoe with Commitment

A Shoe with Commitment

When deciding what to wear on a date, shoes are always at the top of the list. Should I wear heels? Am I going to be taller than him? Are these too casual? But what if your shoe was actually the defining factor for who you went on a date with?

Shoes Shoes Shoes, a store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, paired up with a dating site called “Lunch Actually“. When a man signs up, he chooses 20 shoes from the website that he would like a potential date to wear, and then, they have to promise to pay anywhere from 10 to 100% of the shoe price. Then, after a woman buys a shoe, she can go online and see what guys liked that particular shoe and potentially get reimbursed for their purchase after the first date.

First of all, I don’t think I’ve ever heard a guy say, “Please make sure your shoes match your outfit!” Also just a warning to anyone willing to try this: Prince Charming or Sugar Daddy (whichever you prefer) will no doubt have a foot fetish. I mean, hey, I could probably be convinced to go on a date just to get a free pair of shoes, but this “shoe dating” may very well be desperation at its finest.
