Loyal m.blog readers, when’s the last time you took a vacation?
And not just a three-day-weekend trip to The Cape or to ACK. But an honest to goodness, phone and computer-less vacation with no work worries in mind. If you’re like most Americans, it’s probably been awhile. Did you know that about 700 million vacation days go unused in the U.S. a year?
That’s where United is stepping in to help. To celebrate the new nonstop service between San Francisco (SFO) and Papeete, Tahiti (PPT) beginning on October 30th, the airline company has partnered with Project: Time Off to send a stressed-out employee on a free week-long vacation to Tahiti!
Yep, you read that correctly: everything fo’ free! The grand prize includes stays at the InterContinental’s Tahiti Resort & Spa, Moorea Resort & Spa and Maitai Rangiora; transportation between the islands; an excursion in Tahiti or Moorea; and a $2k prepaid card to use on meals and additional expenses, for the winner and a guest.
To enter, just send a statement of 300 words or less as to why you’re the hardest working person in America by September 25th. Winners will be announced on October 11th.
