Drink to Save Baby Tigers!
So drinking to save baby tigers is right up our alley!
Recently, Tiger Beer (a subsidiary of Heineken) teamed up with the World Wildlife Foundation to create the 3890Tigers campaign. The name of the campaign stems from the fact that there are only about 3,980 tigers remaining in the wild. Unbelievable! The goal of this six-year partnership is to regenerate the ailing tiger population and support the Tx2 goal – a commitment made from the 13 countries where tigers now roam free – of doubling the wild tiger population to 6,000 by 2022.

So where does the drinking come in?
Tiger Beer will also be donating $1 million to the Tx2 goal and will release a limited design on their bottles and packaging (the first time the brand’s iconic tiger won’t be featured in the company’s 84 years) in honor of the gift.
To raise awareness for the campaign, Tiger Beer also commissioned six artists to create original works that depict these wild tigers, which can be added to selfies consumers upload to the campaign’s website.
This is definitely the kind of marketing partnership I’d gladly raise a glass (or two) to support!
