Cats may be the darlings of the internet (and the café scene), but when it comes to the food world, dogs rule! From OG’s Lady and the Tramp, to ice cream shops serving modern day pups dedicated scoops garnished with a bone-shaped treat, it is a truth universally acknowledged that canines and fine dining go together like spaghetti and meatballs. The latest installment in this grand tradition? A video of two adorable doggies feasting on a three course meal cooked up by none other than Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Come to find out, Chef Jean-George actually cut his chops in the food world by cooking exclusively for dogs back in la France.

The video stars Marnie, a 10 year old Insta-famous Shih-Tzu currently kickin’ it in NYC. A quick glance at her profile reveals that she likes latte art, tennis and wine. Alongside our leading lady we have Ripley. Also a senior dog, but not yet Insta-famous. The crack production team behind this fluffy film? None other than gourmet tastemakers, Bon Appetite.

This, dear readers, begs the question: are dog people just inherently BETTER AT FOOD than cat people? Press play on the full video below (Exhibit Aww!, if  you will) and it shall be obvious. There is a clear reason it’s called “Yelp!” and not “Meow Hiss.”
