People will do anything these days to get rid of a hangover: chug tomato juice with cayenne pepper, take a wasabi bath, shoot up wheatgrass, spend over $200 to have a nurse appear at your door with a bag of I.V. fluid and a needle…wait, what?!

Seriously. The I.V. Doc is a “a discrete (sp.) luxury service of I.V. hydration therapy in the comfort and ease of your own home, hotel, or private office.” They offer a handful of treatment options, from a “Super Vitamin B Complex” for a $150 energy boost, to “Revive” (2000ml of fluid, along with anti-nausea, anti-heartburn and anti-inflammatory meds), for when you are on your “deathbed.” And don’t worry – the arm pricking is done by a medical professional.

Apparently the service has been popular in NYC, Long Island, and the Hamptons, and will be soon be available in Chicago and L.A. And “patients” aren’t only using it for hangovers – it quickly cures flu symptoms, jetlag, exercise fatigue, and food poisoning.
