Keeping Up The Bullsh*t

As someone who is very open about my Kim & Kanye hate (apologies for using that word, Mama. Yes you taught me better…), I basically think that they represent – in an obscene, insufferable nutshell – a lot of things that are wrong with the world. Yes, that’s dramatic hyperbole, but let’s roll with it, shall we?

I find Kim to be incredibly annoying, but she is at least tolerable…ish. She’s just a walking punchline, a caricature at this point and is, in my opinion, far less offensive than her husband. Don’t even get me started on the other K. Too late, I’m ready to rant. In my opinion, Yeezy possesses a breed of narcissism that’s as alarming as it is entertaining because he truly believes all of the ridiculous crap that comes out of his mouth. Waxing not-so-poetic on how he feels that he should be mentioned in the same breath as Steve Jobs, Walt Disney and Picasso? Oh yes, you better believe that he means that with every fiber of his being.

Mr. & Mrs. West secured some prime media real estate on the cover of the Harper’s Bazaar September issue, and the accompanying article is just as bizarre as one would expect. A direct quote from Kanye about his wife’s propensity for naked photography: “I love her nude selfies….I feel like it’s almost a Renaissance thing….To not show it would be like Adele not singing.” Oy, spare me. More of that and other gems of pontification (including some childish shade thrown at T-Swift) can be found here. http://www.harpersbazaar.com/fashion/photography/a16784/kanye-west-kim-kardashian-interview/

The King and Queen of nonsense continue their impressive and inimitable (well, here’s looking at you, Trump…) reign, what else is new? Plz make it stahp.
