Kiehl’s Cross-Terrain Men’s Collection
Each summer I seek out a sunblock that won’t coat my skin in chemical nastiness and clog up my pores…even tan zits are gross. I stopped into Kiehl’s last month to see what they had to offer and to my delight they’ve introduced a new men’s line, Cross-Terrain. Designed for active, rugged folk…the products are long-lasting and super-strength, but like all Kiehl’s products, natural and gentle on the skin.
The collection is created in collaboration with National Geographic’s Young Explorers Program and is the company’s first “head-to-toe” formulation for high-performance. Each product was tested in extreme conditions…cliff climbing, arctic trekking and ocean diving, etc. The product line features four products: Face Protector with SPF 50, 24 Hour Strong Anti-Perspirant Stick, Dry Run Foot Cream and All-in-One Refueling Wash. I only opted for the face protector as I already had a big bottle of Jack Black’s All-Over Wash (which is the best travel product ever!), I’m loyal to Tom’s for my deodorant and really the only time my feet get moisturized is during a pedicure.
The facial sunblock is the consistency of a hard-packed Vaseline and provides a thick, protective coat that is wind, sweat and water resistant. I’ve used it straight through every weekend of the past month and half and — despite long days on the beach – no burns and no breakouts!
