Growing up, my friends and I were obsessed with all things Laguna Beach and Lauren Conrad (or LC for those of us who know her well). My friends and I threw a Black & White party, we wanted to go to Cabo for Spring Break, when they graduated we all teared up, we used “dunzo” in our day-to-day language and I always felt in the middle of the Stephen drama. When Lauren and co moved on to The Hills, we again were religious watchers. We obviously took her side in the Heidi fight, we felt so bad for her when she passed up Paris and broke up with Jason and were always a little skeptical of Justin Bobby. Ever since Lauren’s last episode on The Hills, when she walks out of Speidi’s wedding, there’s been a void in our hearts. Yes, I still follow LC and all of her doings via Instagram but, trust me, it’s not the same.

A few months ago, Lauren posted a photo on her Instagram that got everyone talking. In it, she was being filmed with the caption “Never thought I’d see the day….” and tagged MTV in the photo.

Of course, everyone thought she was filming some sort of reunion show. Not only was that confirmed, but it happened and it was ah-mazing! Last night, LC made a long overdue comeback on “The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now!” Cue, major excitement and re-watching it a million times. Marathon binge-watching old episodes ASAP? Oh, yes.
