Even if you’re not a big sports fan, mark your calendar now for February 3rd. Not only is that the day of the Super Bowl and all the nachos, beer commercials and halftime show surprises that come with it, but it’s also the Puppy Bowl!

If you’re not familiar, two teams of adorable puppies will compete for the Chewy “Lombarky” Trophy. This year’s big game features 93 pups from more than 51 rescue organizations in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Costa Rica – though most have been adopted since the game was taped last fall.

In addition to the furry football game, viewers will also get to see the locker room pre-game, footage from the water bowl cam, a kiss cam and the results of each pup’s DNA test to learn how its breed’s genetic traits may help them earn the title of MVP (Most Valuable Pup). Some of the lineup has been announced with their adorable headshots and amazingly punny bios, and here are some stand outs:

Clara: A corgi with a celebrity crush on Meghan Barkle. Yes, my heart is exploding from the cuteness.

Gallagher: A St. Bernard from Iowa whose favorite book is “Beowoof.” Look at that face!

Maisey: A Jersey girl who self-identifies as a “Labra-Thor.” I suspect Maisey will be playing wide retriever.

While my three top picks are all from Team Fluff, I’m rooting for all the pups! No matter whether Team Fluff or Team Ruff win the big game, they are all winners in my book for being the cutest Puppy Bowl lineup yet.
