- marlo monthly
In this month’s marlo monthly for October 2012, cooksimple, Off The Grid Excursions, Belly and New Center for Arts & Culture Fall 2012.
In early September, even before Labor Day, I stopped into a CVS and was dismayed to see candy corn and other signs of Halloween already lining the shelves. Given my reluctance to be pushed by the retailers of America into thinking about trick-or-treating two months out, it slightly pains me to bring up the subject of holiday parties. But the truth of the matter is that sometimes advance planning is required. And if you’re gonna need some help with that planning, we want you to think of marlo venues!
Creativity doesn’t come easily to everyone, so let us help you make your holiday party one your staff will be talking about for years! (Side note: I ran into a former intern last week who was still raving about last year’s mm/c stretch limo progressive holiday party. No joke.) Not only do we have some of the city’s top venues that can accommodate groups from 10 – 500, but we’ve got oodles of creativity and love coming up with out-of-the-box ways to throw a kick ass party.
Buying candy two months out isn’t showing foresight and planning — it just shows you’re looking for a way to sabotage your diet. Booking your holiday party that far out…well, there’s nothing tricky about that!
