Here’s one to make you feel old: it’s been twenty years since the absolute best show to ever be on television premiered (Friends – duh). Granted, I was only five at the time, but when I finally caught onto its genius (when it ended), I was immediately addicted. Those who know me well know that I can quote every episode flawlessly, use Ross’ “bang fists” gesture on the reg, and request that every trivia team I am a part of be named “Princess Consuela Banana Hammock.”

Now, thanks to a brilliant “Central Perk” pop-up shop collab between Warner Bros and Eight O’Clock Coffee in NYC, my Friends fix doesn’t have to come solely from Nick @ Nite reruns. The “coffee shop” looks just like the original Central Perk, complete with orange couch, set props and costumes, and a flatscreen playing episodes of the iconic series. Oh yeah, and coffee shop fave Gunther (with “hair brighter than the sun”) will be there on the closing date.

The pop-up is open through October 18 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. Fans can enjoy free coffee and peruse the gift shop, and on Friday nights there will be live performances by local artists (fingers crossed for a “Smelly Cat” revival).

Booking my train ticket to New York now. If you see a chick on the news trying to walk out with Joey’s white dog statue, that may be me. Just sayin’.
