OOO With Ryan Reynolds

OOO With Ryan Reynolds

I don’t know about you, but I would love to talk to Ryan Reynolds. Though I never thought this could be possible, I recently discovered his email address. It’s ryan@aviationgin.com – you’re welcome. You might wonder how I found this information? He shared it on a recent interview on The Tonight Show, many thanks to Jimmy Fallon.

During the interview, Reynolds shared his thoughts on out-of-office messages. He recently signed a deal with Aviation American Gin and started using OOO messages as a way to promote the brand. On Father’s Day, he decided to write a very personal message to let people know he was away:

“‘…While my own father may be gone, the unspoken tension we shared is alive and well,’ his out-of-office reply read, in part. “This Father’s Day, you may not be able to give Dad a second chance, but you can give him a bottle of Aviation American Gin. Or, if he died before either of you could even begin to comprehend the importance of closure, just get yourself a bottle…”

Okay, a little dark, if you ask me. More recently he used an OOO message for his New York trip and interview on The Tonight Show, which you can read in its entirety here.

While I’m not sure Reynolds will ever take his OOO messages down, it’s certainly an entertaining way to “interact” with fans and spread Aviation’s name. Check out the rest of his recent OOO messages here – or send him an email yourself!

I’m planning my next clever OOO message now. Thanks for the inspo, Ryan!
