Whether you’re a wine connoisseur who only dines with a sommelier and decanter on hand or, like me, someone who just likes to casually enjoy her $7.99 bottle of Barefoot Moscato on a lazy summer night, you can now forget about forgetting the corkscrew. You can also forget the debate over cork or plastic or screwtops and instead raise a toast to individually-sealed glasses of wine.

The UK company Marks & Spencer launched its new product this past month to overwhelming success. These disposable (and recyclable!) plastic wineglasses have sealed tops that you pull back, similar to that on yogurt containers. After quickly selling out of stores, the M&S Le Froglet glasses (available in Shiraz, Rose and Chardonnay) have created a serious buzz on that side of the pond. While not yet offered in the States, we hopefully won’t have to wait too long for it to make its way across the Atlantic.

I, for one, can’t wait to simply peel and drink.  I’ll toast to that any day!
