Receptionist & Administrative Assistant

marlo marketing seeks an enthusiastic Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our vibrant, fun, and fast-paced Boston office. The Receptionist/Admin Assistant is a highly visible front desk position, serving as the face of our bustling office and the administrative right hand to our CEO and staff. This is an hourly position reporting directly to the Operations Manager and CEO.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Maintain a professional appearance (sense of style a must!)
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Open the office each morning; maintain overall appearance and tidiness of the office
  • Prepare for and clean up after meetings
  • Manage supplies and shipping; distribute mail
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and other executives as needed

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience in a customer setting
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Attention to detail and ability to operate with a sense of urgency
  • Punctuality and exceptional communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, problem-solve, and identify/escalate concerns when needed
  • Must love dogs!
