The world’s latest pop culture craze is 47-year-old Susan Boyle, who recently wowed the judges of “Britain’s Got Talent” with her spectacular singing voice. She serenaded the audience with her rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables and even Simon Cowell couldn’t contain his smile.

With her YouTube post generating over 19 million views, it’s no surprise that the media is exploding with stories about Boyle. Just Googling her name brings up over 3,000 news hits. Articles have appeared in the LA Times, Philadelphia Enquirer, and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. People are buzzing about her on Twitter. Boyle even sang exclusively for Anderson Cooper live on CNN.

It’s no surprise that Boyle also has celebrity support. Drew Barrymore told Access Hollywood that she’s cheering on the singer, who’s literally never been kissed. How appropriate that Drew was asked to comment – she played the exact character in the “Never Been Kissed” movie about five years ago. (Minus the cats…and about 20 years.)
