With the much-anticipated third season of Stranger Things set to be released on July 4th, the geniuses at Netflix have taken every opportunity to promote the premiere with clever partnerships with household brands like Burger King and Baskin-Robbins.

Burger King’s collab takes a spin on a classic burger and adds a little flair. The “Upside Down Whopper” (literally a Whooper, flipped upside down) is a play on the alternate universe in the show. The burger will be served in throwback packaging from the 1980’s (when the show is set), and also includes themed ketchup packets and BK’s signature crowns made to look like character Dustin’s hat.

Baskin Robbins created seven new ice cream treats inspired by some of the show’s characters. The partnership stems from a new location in Season 3, Scoops Ahoy — an ice cream shop where some of the characters work. From an Eleven-inspired EGGO waffle cone treat to the Demogorgon Sundae, Baskin Robbins is hoping Stranger Things superfans binge on their tasty treats while binge-watching the show’s eight episodes.

There will inevitably be more partnerships to come, and the marketing nerds here at marlo will be eagerly awaiting them all!
