Adam Cormier is an accomplished marketing and public relations professional with more than 15 years of experience executing strategic communications programs across a wide variety of industries around the world.
Adam began and developed his career rising in the ranks at FleishmanHillard and Weber Shandwick in Boston, executing strategic communications campaigns for business and technology brands looking to aggressively compete for the leadership of their respective markets. From working with FORTUNE 500 brands to bootstrapping start-ups, Adam’s career has focused on the impact that business and technology have on life and culture. For over four years, Adam served as a corporate spokesperson for AT&T during its exclusive relationship with Apple and spoke to all AT&T products and services within specific markets. Additionally, Adam played a key role in launch of an industry movement that spawned the Internet of Things, a new multi-billion dollar market for appliances, gadgets and devices connected to the Internet.
Prior to joining marlo marketing, Adam was a vice president at Racepoint Global overseeing some of the agency’s most recognized accounts including Sysomos, RallyPoint.com and WHOOP. As team lead, Adam developed and executed national and global media, analyst and influencer relations programs, managed client events, developed thought leadership content, digital marketing programs, managed crisis communications and provided communications counsel related to merger, acquisition or funding.
Raised in Connecticut, Adam attended The University of Connecticut in Storrs, studying Government Communications and basketball. He now resides on Cape Cod with his wife and children in the quaint village of Osterville. When not in a hockey rink or at an Irish Step Dance competition, Adam can be found sipping coffee with his pug Tuukka (IG: @tuukkathepug) before exploring the Cape’s beaches and golf courses.
