A seasoned public relations, marketing and branding professional, Peter has more than 14 years of experience executing integrated communications campaigns for clients, delivering measurable results to drive growth.
Peter led the financial technology team at Boston’s BackBay Communications for over a decade, positioning client brands to achieve strategic growth goals in compelling and impactful ways. Accounts included Advisors Asset Management, the Association for Corporate Growth, iQuantifi, Linedata, Majestic Research/ITG, TD Bank and others in the B2B technology and financial services sectors. Programs included a combination of proactive outreach to tier one media, content marketing, thought leadership campaigns, drafting bylined articles and social media/digital strategy. He also has experience media training and counseling C-suite executives, offering tips and strategies for engaging with reporters.
Prior to joining BackBay Communications, Peter was Assistant Director of Communications at Dana Hall School in Wellesley, MA, where he worked alongside the development office to amplify the school’s visibility.
He has a deep knowledge of the financial services and financial technology industries, having spent five-plus years post-undergrad working in fund accounting/portfolio administration for industry giants State Street, Manlike Financial and Northern Trust, before moving on to earn his NASD Series 7 & 63 licenses as a compliance analyst at John Hancock Advisers.
Peter earned his Master of Arts in Print and Multimedia Journalism from Emerson College and his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Dayton.
