My latest obsession is Chanel’s Wallet on Chain. We all know it’s true; Chanel bags are often imitated, but never duplicated. Here’s my advice: if you’re willing to splurge on a real Chanel bag, this is the one to buy.

I’m in love with this bag for a couple of reasons. One, it’s less expensive than other purses in the Chanel handbag collection (in the $1,000-$2,000 range, depending on the fabric & its availability). In fact, the price has risen significantly over the past year due to its gain in popularity. And two, it’s unbelievably versatile!

The Chanel WOC has three different uses. Going to a club and don’t want to worry about holding your purse all night? Place the bag’s long, chain-linked strap across your chest and voila, your hands are free! Heading to a classy evening affair in a little black dress? Tuck the strap inside the bag and you’ve got yourself the perfect clutch! Spending a day out with the girls and want the traditional shoulder bag? Double loop the strap and you’ve got yourself an oh-so-classic, double-chain Chanel!

The WOC comes equipped with a built-in credit card/license holder, a zippered pocket (great for keys) and just enough room for your phone, camera, lip gloss and make-up mirror. Seriously, what’s not to love?!

And, I’m not the only one who has fallen in love with WOC. I’ve recently spotted The Hills’ star, Audrina Patridge and The City’s Whitney Port sporting the WOC across their chest. This is definitely the “it” bag of the moment.
