“Rosé All Day” is taking on new meaning this summer. If you’re a fan of the delicious pink wine, book your trip to New York now for Pinknic. The rosé-themed picnic and outdoor music festival on Governor’s Island is shaping up to be a very pink mini Coachella.
The inaugural Pinknic in 2016 drew 12,000 guests – and that was before they upped the ante and pumped up the music festival aspect of the weekend. This year’s event will bring back some fan-favorites, including the mermaid pool, Ferris wheel and fireworks show, and include a musical line-up featuring Klingande, Autograf and more.
What else can you expect at Pinknic? A mandatory dress code of pink and/or white summer chic attire. A gourmet food court featuring local New York chefs. A sprawling lawn covered in millennial pink picnic blankets. And of course, rosé in the form of champagne, frosé and other pink cocktail concoctions.
If you’re willing to shell out a little more money, you can upgrade yourself to different VIP levels that will surely inspire Insta-envy among your followers. The tempting VIP perks available include access to the most Instagram-worthy spots of the festival: the VIP Garden with hammocks and pillows, the VIP pool lounge, or a cabana for you and nine of your closest friends.
I don’t know about you, but I say, “Yes way, rosé!”
