If you’re struggling to keep up with your social channels during this crazy time, you’re not alone. We’ve rounded up a few tips to keep things fresh and keep content real:
SWITCH IT UP. Post that static photo, add that story, do whatever makes YOU shrine through your page. Don’t be afraid of lack of likes or comments, just go for it. In turn, people will relate more to you and aspire to do the same. Be genuine and tasteful by posting what you’d want to see on your feed or timeline.
REVAMP FOLLOWING. Cleanse your following/followers. Go through each list, removing those who you don’t regularly engage with or whose content you don’t enjoy. Unfollow any unmotivating, discouraging, unrealistic accounts and in turn, follow genuine, uplifting accounts. Ask friends for recommendations, check your Explore page and search your favorite celebrities, influencers and brands. This will flip flop your feed for the better and in turn enhance your daily perspective – because let’s face it, you spend a lot of your day on social media.
TAKE A BREAK. Yes, you read that correctly. Sometimes the only way to really refresh and reload is to pause. Delete your apps temporarily, clear your mind and really step away from the social world. Coming back with a fresh set of eyes could really make all the difference in transforming and revamping your platform.
People are taking to social media now more than ever, so speak your mind, share your experiences and don’t be afraid to be genuinely YOU.
