Tiffany Blue Everything

Being in this industry, I think we can all appreciate a good PR stunt. My favorite right now? Tiffany & Co. recently launched its new jewelry collection, Paper Flowers, and to celebrate, the brand painted select NYC taxi cabs in the iconic robin’s egg blue and printed Tiffany-branded MetroCards for a few lucky riders. They didn’t stop there, though. New Yorkers can also stop at Tiffany Blue coffee carts around the city, which will be serving up complimentary brews and croissants, and bodegas throughout Manhattan are also being dressed up with blue awnings and buckets of paper flowers handmade by the Tiffany creative team.

The jewelry collection, which was inspired by Audrey Hepburn, is Chief Artistic Officer Reed Krakoff’s first for the brand, and the New York celebration is supposed to speak to how luxury can still be casual.

I’m slightly obsessed with all of this – not sure if that is because of the tie to Holly Golightly or the overwhelming amount of robin’s egg blue taking over Manhattan. ❤
