Chief Creative Officer
Drew joined marlo marketing in 2018 as Chief Creative Officer where he brings a unique approach to creative problem-solving, combining out-of-the-box thinking with practical and analytical strategies that come from his unique arts and business background.
Prior to joining marlo, Drew led Creative Katz, an agency focused on creative direction, graphic design, photography, web strategy, content management, and project management for industries ranging from healthcare to hospitality. For several years prior, he was the Associate Publisher for the periodical, New American Paintings, where he provided creative direction, managed the magazine’s production team, and lead internal operations. He began his professional career as an art dealer in Boston with the opening of Gallery Katz, a fine art gallery most known for being the first in the city to exhibit famed street artist, Shepard Fairey. He is an avid art collector and sits on the MIT List Visual Arts Center’s advisory committee.
Drew is also a fine art photographer, specializing in night photography. His photographs are in prominent public and private art collections including Fidelity Investments and Wellington Management. His food and beverage photography has been featured in Boston Magazine, The Boston Globe, Boston.com, Boston Common, The Improper Bostonian, Time Out Boston, Thrillist, Eater, Zagat’s, and more.
Originally from Kansas, Drew holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MBA from Babson College.
