An adept professional with an appetite for good food and great press, Erin joined marlo marketing in January 2014 as an Account Manager. She is well versed in agency PR and in-house marketing, and has been passionate about the hospitality space since her first job bussing tables in her hometown of Newport, RI.
Erin’s client portfolio has touched on locally and nationally acclaimed restaurants with concepts that include French fine dining, modern gastro-pubs, and hipster-friendly pizza places. Erin has successfully driven energetic media campaigns around these vibrant, chef-driven properties, and was promoted to Account Director in September 2016. During her time at marlo, she has secured coverage in major outlets such as Cooking Light, FWx, Esquire, Cheers and USA Today.
Prior to joining marlo, Erin helmed the Food & Wine Program at the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE). While there, she managed a staff of 50 chefs and culinary instructors, working with them to produce classes ranging from the technically focused to the trendy and lighthearted. Most notably, Erin organized the BCAE’s popular Celebrity Chef Series, providing Boston’s best chefs an opportunity to engage with their audience through intimate, hands-on cooking classes. She also wrote copy for the BCAE’s course catalog and website, reviewed and approved press releases, and organized email marketing campaigns.
Erin cut her teeth in the world of PR and marketing while working as an Account Representative at McNeil, Gray & Rice, a Boston-based tech PR agency. At MGR, she focused on securing media coverage and building a lively and engaged social media following for her clients.
Erin holds a degree in English Literature and Business from Providence College. Outside of the office, she can be found exploring Boston’s craft beer scene or training for her next half marathon.
