We’re Thankful For…

Triptophan – it helps the insomniacs sleep.

I am grateful for the amazing people in my life, family, friends, and co-workers, that all help make my life a little brighter. I’m also grateful for teenybopper movies and pop-music, which make me laugh and smile. Finally, I’m grateful for chocolate. Enough said.

I am thankful for NOT writing the m. blog using the word “spina bifida” (just kidding, Amelia…love ya!).

I am thankful for the availability of botox, so that I can always be called a Stepford wife by Marlo.

I am thankful for attending a Thanksgiving dinner where I will not be responsible for cooking any of the food (I set off the fire alarm way too many times!).

I am thankful for NOT having a shotgun wedding like Khloe Kardashian (but, I wouldn’t mind rockin’ her bling bling).

I am thankful that I have two legs that work and can get me from point A to point B without any pain. And of course, that allow me to dance!

I am thankful for Facebook and Twitter because I love staying up-to-date on the “who, what, when and how”!

My wallet and I are thankful for midnight madness on Black Friday! Let the shopping games begin!

I’m thankful for margaritas, good beer, my sense of humor, sports bras that fit, kittens, warm cider on cold days, new iPhone apps that make me go “Neat!”, people who put up with me, tweezers, the color blue, and coffee on the beach on Sunday mornings. And for my husband-to-be, for making me laugh even when I’m trying ever-so-hard to be very serious, which I am very bad at!

I’m thankful for my over-priced North End apartment that allows me to live way too close to cheesy Faneuil Hall bars and amazing Italian food.

I’m thankful for healthy and happy friends and family…and my Nespresso machine – not really a morning person!

I’m thankful to be running a company that hasn’t had one layoff, one pay cut (other than my own…gotta love being the boss 😉 ) or any mandatory furloughs as a result of the economy, and the team I’ve created of young, curious, passionate, conscientious and thoughtful individuals who consistently make me prouder than they probably even know.
