Snack Factory®, maker of Pretzel Crisps®, has created some of the tastiest better-for-you snacks in the CPG space, but in an increasingly cluttered snack category, the brand continually strives to make their products really stand out in the crowd.
Assignment
As agency of record for Snack Factory, marlo marketing was tasked with generating continuous buzz and increased sales for the brand through strategic and creative initiatives introducing a steady stream of new products and innovations to consumer and trade audiences.
Strategy
- Differentiate Pretzel Crisps from other snacks by showcasing unique flavors and proprietary recipes, tying to snacking occasions, and reinforcing the overall better-for-you snack benefits of the brand.
- Forge partnerships with celebrities and social media influencers who appeal to Pretzel Crisps’ target demographic to communicate strategic brand messaging and positioning through earned and paid social coverage.
- Create integrated PR plans featuring both earned and paid media opportunities including memorable media mailers for new products, sponsored content, high profile sampling executions, stunt activations at top industry trade shows, satellite media tours around key snacking occasions, and seasonal mat releases.
