Media Relations Manager

marlo marketing is a full-service integrated marketing agency specializing in hospitality, lifestyle, and CPG. We’re seeking a talented Media Relations Manager on a part-time basis to handle outreach efforts for a variety of leading lifestyle and hospitality brands.


  • Handle media relations efforts on behalf of clients in the consumer, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors
  • Secure placements with regional and national media targets
  • Book media visits, desksides or events (safely, natch), as appropriate
  • Draft and edit press releases, pitches, briefings and other media materials, as needed
  • Provide client-ready media updates to account team

Your Background & Skills:

  • 5-7 years of PR experience (within the consumer, lifestyle, or hospitality spaces a plus)
  • Media relations expertise
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape and the latest trends
  • Ability to craft – and pitch – compelling narratives
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate with urgency and meet deadlines
  • Proactive nature and pride in a job well done
