In 2018, Snyder’s-Lance, the maker of beloved Cape Cod Potato Chips, announced the introduction of a new line of potato chips, Cape Cod Waves. The iconic brand was looking to make a big splash with media, influencers and consumers in markets East of the Mississippi to generate buzz for its first new product introduction in years.

Cape Cod Potato Chips tasked marlo marketing to execute a paid influencer campaign to build awareness and drive purchase of Cape Cod Potato Chips’ newest product, Waves.
Strategy
- Generate unique content through a strategic paid influencer campaign designed to drive consumer awareness, trial and sales of new Cape Cod Waves.
- Go beyond the brand’s typical food and snack media targets to also include lifestyle, fashion and coastal/nautical influencers to create a whole new crew of loyal fans.
- Capture star power by contracting with high-profile entertainment-based personalities to showcase and demonstrate the new chips on their social channels.
- Create appealing on-brand visuals to be shared across social and repurposed by Cape Cod on their owned properties.
